Tageskarte Nr. 909

I´m going to head out shopping in a moment. I must go to the cashdesk beforehand to draw some money. I keep wondering why I´m still given money from my account when there is in fact no money at all. Anyway, it works like this: after I have bravely typed out my code the cash machine open it´s gulping throat, accompanied by a faint buzzing sound, pushing towards me the money I don´t really have, money that is actually „minus-money“. How can a cash machine be ever so foolish not to differ between „plus“ and „minus“. Doesen´t anyone teach it? Well, I don´t care I´m off now.

Tageskarte Nr. 908

The other day I stumbled over my scaffold and I suppose I have broken the toe. That day it was hot, in fact you felt the heat like a wall. Everyone was outside because most people are mad on days like this I mean on summerdays and hot weather and all that stuff. I´m not mad on summerdays with temperatures liks this, I behave quite nomal, I sure as death wouldn´t go outside but doing my stuff like every day, standing at my scaffold and maybe breaking the toe.
Already when falling and getting into contact with the scaffold I knew at once now it´s going to hurt like hell - and before this signal was due to reach my brain - I had already limped to the kitchen, I had torn open the icebox and sort of tinkerd some cooling stuff round my toe. Instead of weeping I was swaying back and forth and I was wondering wether this might be the punichment for staying inside though it was summer and EVERYBODY SHOULD GO OUTSIDE but I DIDN´T. In the meanwhile the toe gradually darkened into blue, according to my husband this indicates being broken - but he wasn´t sure abaut me I was bent to be over-sensitive to the sightes blow ever... At that moment I didn´t inquire about the different meanings of the term ´sensitivity´ and wether my husband said this sentences the way he said it - I didn´t bother about such things but prayed to God, please, please let me rather be over-sensitive than having my toe broken. For in that case I would have go outside, I´d have to walk through that heat and probably had to stay in an ambulance FOR AGES, then endured the whole procedure of beeing asked to move my toe like this and that and to tell them wether it was hurting this way or that way and finally being x-rayed anyhow to make sur it was NOT broken after all - HA HA.
Ambulance vans were passing our windows probably on their way to people who actually DIED DURING SUCH HEAT. Surely I wouldn´t be picked up by an ambulance van - sort of pity ( for then I wouldn´t have to go OUTSIDE but only to the frontdoor and from there straight into the van, air-conditioned of course, then limping into the ambulance) - for already on the phone I´d be asked wether there was something wrong with ONE toe only, in which case I wouldn´t be picked up because I had nine toes left over to walk with.
I didn´t ring up anyone, I didn´t went out, I kept sitting on my bed staring at my blue toe and deeply appealing it to be not broken. Meanwhile I drank some Prosecco in the first place to finally calm down, in the second place to find out wether I would be still able to walk on nine toes after I had drunk Prosecco as much as necessary.
